The 2024 Classic Dirt Bike Show, sponsored by Hagon Shocks, is gearing up to host not one but two iconic figures in the world of motorsports. Former speedway and dirt bike racing legend Kelvin Tatum, a multiple British and world champion turned TV presenter and commentator, will be a special guest at the event on February 10-11 at Telford International Centre.
Tatum, celebrated for his extraordinary career achievements and charismatic personality, will entertain the crowds with tales of his racing exploits and immerse himself in the rich history of dirt bike racing. Event manager Nick Mowbray expressed his excitement, stating, “Kelvin’s remarkable career achievements, his deep-seated passion for the sport, and his engaging personality make him the perfect addition to our event.”
Joining Tatum as the guest of honour is Yrjö ‘Vesty’ Vesterinen, a three-times world trials champion. The Finn, known for his exceptional skills and contributions to trials riding and enduro racing, will share the spotlight with Tatum in a celebration of off-road motorcycling.
“We are thrilled to have Yrjö as our guest of honour. His contributions to off-road motorcycling are exceptional, and his presence at our event will enhance the experience for our attendees,” said Mowbray.
The Classic Dirt Bike Show promises a weekend filled with vintage motocross and dirt bike machines, lively trade areas, live discussions, expert talks, workshops, and more. Hagon Shocks, a leading name in motorcycle suspension technology, proudly sponsors the event, contributing to its success and expansion.
